As the saying goes, Times are a changin’ and at the NFN Dental Clinic we are changing our “RDH Patient Care Days” volunteer times. We will now have a little longer volunteer shift from 9 AM to 1 PM. The 1-4 PM shift is being eliminated due to the difficulty in recruiting volunteers for this afternoon shift. Yes, that will be asking each volunteer to give 4 instead of 3 hours of their time. But the 4 hours you will spend is such a rewarding experience!
To make our volunteer efforts easier, the NFN Dental Clinic is fully equipped. The clinic includes quality hand instruments, ultrasonic units, a well-organized Clinic Coordinator named Deanna, a helpful dental assistant named Maggie and a volunteer dentist who will always be on hand.
Please contact me if you (or even your dentist) might be interested in helping out during our “RDH Patient Care Days.” I will be happy to answer any questions you might have & provide you with directions to the clinic. Thanks for your consideration!

WDR is a charitable, non-profit relief organization that distributes much needed dental supplies within the U.S. and to dental missions globally. WDR volunteering is one of TCDHS' favorite on-going service projects working with Dr. Ron Lamb and Pam Lamb, RDH. We meet at the new warehouse in Broken Arrow from 6-9 p.m. Work times can flex if needed and the Lambs' even provide a light dinner!
We enjoy a variety of easy job tasks such as sorting dental hygiene instruments and packaging dental mission kits all while chatting and sharing lots of laughs! Volunteer evenings for 2007 are from 6-9 p.m. on Thursday, September 13th, Thursday, October 11th, and Thursday, November 1st. If this volunteer schedule does not work for you consider getting together with co-workers or a friend to help out during an evening or day off.
